Podcasts

Podcasts are a great way to build or reach an audience. With more than 50% of all internet usage on mobile devices, podcasts are a great way to create content for an audience on-the-go. While blogs and videos need your visual attention, podcasts can be enjoyed while driving, cooking, working out, or anywhere else you can bring your phone and earbuds.

Podcasts are a wonderful way to connect with a niche audience and deliver valuable content. If there is a topic that in which someone MIGHT be interested, there is likely a podcast. I can offer assistance with planning, recording, and editing one-off podcast episodes or a series.

Podcast Examples:

Convergence & Consequence

There have been moments throughout history when separate and distinct storylines converge to change the course of the human experience. Convergence & Consequence seeks out those stories and attempts to uncover the who, how, and why of these history-altering moments.

How the Lost Generation found themselves in Paris takes a look into how some of the most influential authors in modern literature found themselves living and creating together in 1920s Paris.

Huck the Itinerary

Co-hosted by my Australian Cattle Dog Huckleberry, Huck the Itinerary delves into topics of animal companionship that combine first-hand stories and subject research.

The Importance of Breed Research discusses my own experience in adopting a working-breed dog with no real understanding of how to manage this type of dog. According to the ASPCA, 3.3 million dogs end up in rescue or shelters every year and 670,000 of them are euthanized. Of those, approximately 80% are healthy.

By sharing my story, I hoped to educate people on the importance of researching their selected breed before taking fido home. More importantly, I hoped to remind people who may be wondering if they’ve made a mistake in picking a dog that has undesirable traits, that by understanding the breed, you can focus your training to create a wonderful relationship with your pet.
